We are a distributed team, with a strong presence in Europe. Our mission is to build a state-of-the-art serverless solution that lets developers and businesses deploy full stack applications, AI workloads, APIs, workers, and databases worldwide with ease.

Hi Pawel!
Why did you join Koyeb?
I wanted to be part of an early-stage startup that is dealing with some cool challenges around infrastructure and distributed systems. I also really liked the mission of building a serverless platform and making app provisioning more accessible to everyone without the need for cumbersome infrastructure management.
How did you get into programming?
Back in high school, I used to take part in some great math courses organized by the University of Warsaw where we got introduced to competitive math and programming.
And this is how I wrote my first line of C++ code …
What are some of your favorite parts of coding and technology?
This is probably related to my coding beginnings, but my favorite part is probably formalizing the problem and designing the solution.

Docker or git-driven?
Favorite side project you have worked on?
That would be probably FashionLens, which was a mobile app designed to shorten the time to find where to buy clothes that you liked. You just take a photo, click on the piece of clothing you liked and you would be redirected to the clothing store where you can buy it.
It was especially interesting as it involved a lot of research around computer vision and neural nets.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Actively! To name my favorite it’s lifting 🏋️ wakeboarding 🏄 and climbing. 🧗
What was the best vacation you ever went on?
That would be probably a sailing trip to Greece. In a nutshell, exploring abandoned islands 🏝️ surviving a storm 🌪️ and seeing dolphins jumping around our yacht. ⛵
What is your all-time favorite movie or TV show?
It used to be the Harry Potter saga ⚡🧙 But after seeing Dune 🐛 I think I have a new favorite one.
